Susi Pudjiastuti is known as Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Presidential Working Cabinet President Joko Widodo since 2014. Previously Susi is a fish exporter from Pangandaran. Also the owner of Susi Air which operates 50 aircraft of various aircraft fleet types such as Cessna Grand Caravan, Pilatus PC-06 Porter, and Piaggio P180 Avanti. Noted, Susi Air employs 175 foreign pilots. Total Susi Air is 179 pilots.

Susi's name is publicly known for the drowning of foreign fishing vessels. Dozens of foreign fishing vessels were drowned in their leadership as ministers. Starting from his homeland in Pangandaran, Susi fish business is rising from local to national level. In 1996, Susi founded PT ASI Pudjiastuti Marine Product, a fish management company.

But lately, when his business got bigger, he was constrained by rapid transportation problems. He was thinking of transporting his fish by airplane. He started building an airplane company for his company.

Susi aircraft was the first plane to land in Aceh after the 2004 tsunami. Initially, the plane was about to bring fish, but because of the Tsunami, it was temporarily used to transport reinforcements to the victims of the Tsunami.

In 2009, Susi established PT ASI Geosurvey Indonesia, the company is engaged in the geographical mapping of the region.
